I’ve been playing with Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy Heron) which just launched yesterday, digging it so far - I like using Ubuntu on my laptop, it’s fun to fiddle around with.

We’ve seen an increase in computers and people working in here. It’s hard when we have lunch or brunch rush and one person is taking a four-seater table for four hours with one cup of coffee. You’re hardly making any markup. We’d have a line out the door and all of the tables were full. We had to unplug the router. It’s been an issue.

Megan and I are at the Drafthouse a lot more than I would care to admit and they have just announced that they have a liquor license at the downtown location, which sounds really cool. They’ll be doing themed drink specials with different movie showings.When IRON MAN opens at the Ritz on Friday, May 2nd, we’ll have special Scotch Flights available (because Tony Stark loves him some scotch) that will let you sample a full line of premium scotches throughout the movie.

Passover is still going on till Sunday evening - I think I’ll make it, but I want some baked goodies from the coffeeshop I am in right now. This was a cool article talking about how different marathoners deal with keeping kosher for Passover and running a marathon.Jonah Pesner is looking ahead to his crucial carb-loading, fuel-up meal on the night before running his first Boston Marathon. On the menu: matzoh.
It’s not the usual choice for marathoners loading up on carbohydrates to drive their run, but Pesner, a rabbi, has limited options.
