Blogger Appreciation Day!

I have been reading blogs on a wide range of topics for years and years; so many of these bloggers put so much time, blood, and sweat into their blogs. It only seems appropriate that we should show our appreciation and to these people for what they do. Per Darren’s suggestion I am going to share with you some of my appreciation for some of my favorite bloggers publicly on this blog and personally via email.

  • J.D. at Get Rich Slowly - GRS is one of my favorite blogs going back some time now, J.D.’s writing makes personal finance accessible and interesting.
  • The Homesick Texan - I feel a certain amount of kinship with her, I spent some time living in New York and one of the things I missed the most was Texan food. She does a great job writing about the origins of Texan dishes and discusses their nuances.
  • Rebecca at Modite - One of the first Gen Y/millenial blogs I got into awhile back; Rebecca writes great in-depth articles that are very well researched and linked up for lots of good reading.

Make sure to share some of your favorite blogs (they don’t have to be in your niche at all) and let those under-appreciated bloggers know that you appreciate what they do; email them, comment on a post, tweet them, whatever…
