Returned from Spring Break

We’re back in Austin, safe and sound, I took a bit of a break from blogging while I was doing some schoolwork and general Spring Break shenanigans. I’ve got some good ideas for some posts this week as I talk about the trip, but for now, I will leave you with some pictures that Megan and I took on our trip to Big Bend:

Bridge over the Pecos River Cool bridge over the Pecos River on US-90
Near Langtry, TX

Looking over the US-Mexico Border outside of Langtry, TX (home of Judge Roy Bean)

The Gage Hotel in Marathon, TX The Gage Hotel in Marathon, TX
Cattle near Big Bend Concerned cattle on the way into Big Bend (See the Chisos Mountains in the background?)
The Window Trail in Big Bend In Big Bend, we hiked down to the bottom of these hills.
Blue Skies in the Davis Mountains Davis Mountains State Park, I just love the big blue skies out here.

Stay tuned this week, as I go into socially conscious vacationing for Generation Y, reviews of the establishments we visited, and my thoughts on Jelly (after attending 24 Hours of Jelly in Austin).
