As I am surfing, I will come across sites that I want to read, but not at that particular moment. My system for tracking those links involves del.icio.us and my Netvibes homepage.
- Any page that I want to save to come back to later, I will bookmark it in del.icio.us as normal (if I want to save the bookmark after I read it later, I will add the appropriate tags), but I will also add a toread tag
- Add a del.icio.us widget to your netvibes page (Add Content -> Applications -> del.icio.us)
- Hit the edit link for that widget, entering your login information for del.icio.us
- Once the widget is connecting to your del.icio.us account, click on the My Tags link, find your toread tag and select it. (Note: You might have to change the number of tags in the widget setting in order to find the right tag)
- Voila! You should have a live, automatic updating To Read list on your Netvibes homepage.
