This is the final installment in my examination of some of the nominees for Best Blogs of 2007 as chosen by Performancing.
Best Blog Design
This one is going to be similar to my picks for best Typography - I ain’t no artist, but that them there some purdy websites. I think that they are all fantastically well designed, and I think that any of them would be good choices for Best Design.
Most Influential Blogger
I don’t read any of these blogs on a regular basis, but techcrunch is the one that comes up all the time and thus, Michael Arrington has my vote for most influential blogger of 2007. As an aside, Seth Godin’s Seth’s Blog, has some good stuff on it - his Music Lessons post caught my eye, in particular.
Best Overall Blog
There are some really good blogs here, but my pick (of these) would have to be Zen Habits. I’ve been reading and following Leo’s work for a some time now, and it is a great inspiration for me. He talks about goals, productivity, frugality, and a number of other topics - all related to simplifying and improving your life. Almost any post on his blog is a must-read.
